Reflection on Nature vs Nurture

Nature is based on our humanity and start with born.however nurture is based on experiments and there is a relation between nurture and the enviorement. İn my opinion there is also a relation between nature and nurture. Nurture is the second step of nature and added person
new qualities and facilities. To sum up everyone born in the same nature but each person gain his\her nurture in the enviorenment.

Reflection on Teacher-Centered and Learner-Centered Instruction

Teacher centered and student centered instruction has always been a discussion in Turkey Education system because both of them has its own curricullum and each of them has advantages and also disadvantages. I want to explain this in my past experience during my high school. When I was in high school I had both kinds of teachers and in some lessons which is teacher centered I was very successfull and understand the whole topic. However, in some lessons I couldnt attend the lecture because I needed private interest of teacher and in this stuation teacher couldnt help me. teacher centered instruction is usefull for teachers who have nearly 30-35 student in one class because teacher dont have time to spend each student so teacher centered education is an adavntage for teacher. Secondly, learner centered education is my favorite because it is totally based on students and it aimed to develop students perfectly and successfully.

Why I want to be a teacher?

  As I said before I was an ex-footballer and that’s my goal and what I want mostly. Until my high school years I played in a lot of team and I gained a lot of experience about football but I had an injury during a match and I broke my right leg and I ended my football life in that time and I had to start a new life without football so I choose my second dream ‘’ being a teacher.’’

Hello Everyone.

My name is Ali GUNEY. I am from Mersin and I lived in Mersin with my family until I graduated form highschool. After that I came to North Cyprus. I am an EFL student at METU NCC.

             My favorite thing and the whole of my life is football until I injured my leg. I played football in a lot of team during these time and I had a lot of opportunity. Until my injury, university is always in my second plan but when I losed my ability I choose to be a good teacher and continue my life as a teacher.
